We wanted to take a few minutes on the eve of finalizing the settlement to create a draft of our thoughts from our association with you over the past several years.

First of all, we thank you from bottom of our hearts for your diligence on this case.  Your attention to detail and persistence in all aspects left us somewhat speechless after the culmination of court today.

In everyone's lifetime someone comes along who has a profound impact on them.  The impact, sadly, is not always a positive endeavor.  Sometimes, we as individuals have the opportunity to be the person making the profound impact on someone's life.  Human nature is such that we always want the result to be a positive experience, but again, sometimes it does not turn out to be so.

We want you to bask (don't gloat, but bask real good!) in the satisfaction that you have made that profound impact on our lives, and it has been a very positive experience.  Your treatment of us in this case was professional from beginning to end.  In a case such as this, we understand emotions can run fairly high.  You indulged us when needed and checked us when necessary.

We're hard pressed to recall a relationship (either personal or business related) where our counterpart (you in this case) always kept our best interest at the forefront of the transaction.
